Participants include OrbiMed, Prospect Venture Partners, Split Rock Partners, BBT Capital, Highland Capital Management and Vanguard Ventures.

Topica Pharmaceuticals (Palo Alto, CA) a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on treatments for onychomycosis, closed a $27M Series B financing. Participants include Third Rock Ventures, Prospect Venture Partners and Yasuda Enterprise Development Corporation.

Kythera Biopharmaceuticals (Calabasas, CA) a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on aesthetic dermatology, closed a $37.4M Series D financing. Participants include Versant Ventures, Arch Venture Partners, Prospect Venture Partners, Jafco Ventures, Invus Financial Advisors, BBT Capital Management, Altitude Life Science Ventures and Foley Ventures.

Pathwork Diagnostics (Redwood City, CA) a commercial-stage molecular diagnostics company focused on tumor RNA expression patterns, closed a $30M Series C financing, it announced. Participants include Alta Partners, Abingworth, Advent Venture Partners, Novus Ventures, Prospect Venture Partners and Venrock.

Complete Genomics (Mountain View, CA) a commercial-stage sequencing company building a human genome sequencing center to enable academic and biopharma researchers to conduct large-scale human genome studies, closed a $39M Series E financing.
