DICOM Grid (Phoenix, AZ) a development-stage bioinformatics company focused on the development of medical imaging software, closed a $7.5M Series A financing. Participants include Canaan Partners and CHL Medical Partners.

Vascular Pathways (Los Altos, CA) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on rapid peripheral intravenous access, closed a $14M Series B financing. Participants include CHL Medical Partners, Ascension Health Ventures, MVM Life Science Partners and Arcus Ventures.

OpGen (Gaithersburg, MD) a commercial-stage genomics device company focused on optical mapping combining strain typing and sequencing, closed a $17M Series B round financing. Participants include jVen Capital, CHL Medical Partners, Highland Capital Partners, Mason Wells Biomedical and Versant Ventures.

Vertos Medical (Aliso Viejo, CA) a commercial stage medical device company focused on providing minimally invasive alternatives for surgical procedures to treat lumbar spinal stenosis, closed a $15.5M Series D financing. Participants include Onset Ventures, CHL Medical Partners, Foundation Medical Partners, Aweida Venture Partners and DFJ Mercury.
