Participants include AGF Private Equity, Institut Régional de Développement Industriel, Amundi Private Equity Funds, InnoBio Fund and Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners.

Archimedes Pharma (United Kingdom) a commercial-stage specialty oncology company focused on pain and critical care, closed a $99M Series C financing. Participants include Novo Growth Equity and Warburg Pincus.

Vaxart (San Francisco, CA) a preclinical-stage developer of a platform vaccine technology focusing on oral delivery that leverages an adjuvant based upon a toll-like receptor, closed a $12.5M Series B financing. Participants include Care Capital.

Immune Targeting Systems (United Kingdom) a clinical-stage biopharma focused on synthetic vaccines for seasonal influenza strains, closed a $13.2M Series A financing, bringing the total round to $20.2M. Participants include Novartis Venture Funds, HealthCap, Truffle Capital and London Technology Fund.

Circassia (United Kingdom) a clinical-stage specialty biopharmaceutical focused on therapeutic T-cell vaccines for allergies and organ transplant rejection, closed a $25M Series C financing. Participants include Imperial Innovations, Invesco Perpetual and Lansdowne Partners.

Parasol Therapeutics (Cambridge, MA) a seed-stage company focused on treatments and diagnostics for influenza, closed a $3.3M Series A financing. Participants include Polaris Venture Partners, Flagship Ventures and Lux Capital.

BioVex (Woburn, MA) a clinical-stage therapeutic vaccine company focused on metastatic melanoma, closed a $40M Series F financing. Participants include Forbion Capital Partners, Credit Agricole Private Equity, Harris & Harris Group, Innoven Partners, New Science Ventures, Triathlon Medical Venture Partners and Scottish Equity Partners.
