Ability Network (Minneapolis, MN) a commercial-stage medical IT company focused on care coordination and collaboration, closed a $27M Series C financing. Participants include Bain Capital Ventures and Lemhi Ventures.

BridgePoint Medical (Minneapolis, MN) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on interventional cardiology for access to and treatment of chronic total occlusions, closed a $9.1M Series C financing. Participants include New Enterprise Associates, Polaris Venture Partners and Foundation Medical Partners.

NxThera (St. Paul, MN) a development-stage medical device company focused on endourology conditions, closed a $12.6M million in Series B financing. Participants include American Medical Systems, Arboretum Ventures, Aberdare Ventures and GDN Holdings.

SuperDimesnion (Minneapolis, MN) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on minimally invasive distal lung disease treatments, closed a $9.8M Series B financing. Participants include Dan Sullivan Investments, Medica Venture Partners, OrbiMed, Oxford Biosciences Partners and Pitango Venture Capital.

Anulex Technologies (Minnetonka, MN) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on herniated discectomy procedures, closed a $18.3M Series E financing. Participants include Hatteras Late Stage VC Fund, Affinity Capital, Delphi Ventures, MB Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, SightLine Partners and Split Rock Partners.

Hemosphere (Eden Prairie, MN) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on vascular access for dialysis patients, closed a $9.3M Series A financing, bringing the total round to $36.3M (GRAFTcath). Participants have included Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Three Arch Partners, Ascension Health Ventures, Affinity Capital Management, Cutlass Capital and Sapient Capital Management.

Apnex Medical (St. Paul, MN) a clinical-stage medical device company developing an implantable treatment for moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, closed a $14M Series B financing. Participants include Domain Associates, New Enterprise Associates and Polaris Venture Partners.

CoAxia (Maple Gove, MN) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on catheter-based therapy for the treatment of cerebral ischemia, closed a $21.5M Series D financing. Participants include Sofinnova Partners, Affinity Capital Management, Baird Venture Partners, Canaan Ventures Partners, Johnson and Johnson Development Corp. and Prism VentureWorks.

Orasi Medical (Edina, MN) an early-stage medical device company focused on the development of a technology to diagnose and monitor neurological disorders using electrical brain activity, closed a $3.5M Series B financing. Participants include CentreStone Ventures and PrairieGold Venture Partners.
