Metamark Genetics (Cambridge, MA) a development-stage molecular diagnostics company focused on prognostic assays for early-stage cancers, closed a $22M Series B financing. Participants may have included Perseus.

Visterra (Cambridge, MA) a development-stage company focused virus-glycan docking to derive products for the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of influenza and other infectious diseases, closed a $6M Series A financing. Participants include Flagship Ventures, Lux Capital and Polaris Venture Partners.

SynapDx (Waltham, MA) a development-stage diagnostic company focused on the early detection of autism, closed a $9M Series A financing. Participants include Bain Capital Ventures, General Catalyst Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.

BioScale (Cambridge, MA) a commercial-stage therapeutic and diagnostics protein biomarker analytics device company, closed a $25M Series D financing. Participants include Morningside Venture, New Science Ventures, WFD Ventures and F2 Ventures.

Stemgent (Cambridge, MA) a commercial-stage supplier of stemcell related reagents and tools, closed a $5.6M Series B financing. Participants include HealthCare Ventures and Morgenthaler Ventures.

Inotek Pharmaceuticals (Lexington, MA) a clinical-stage small molecule company focused on age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataract and diabetic retinopathy, closed a $18M Series D financing. Participants include Devon Park Bioventures, Rho Ventures, Care Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, MedImmune Ventures and Bio One Capital.

MedVentive (Waltham, MA) a commercial-stage electronic medical data company, closed a $2.8M Series C, bring the entire financing to $10M. Participants include HLM Venture Partners, Excel Venture Management, Clarian Health Ventures, Core Capital Partners and Long River Ventures.
