ViewRay (Gainesville, FL)  maker of  a MRI-guided radio-therapy delivery device, closed a $25M Series B financing. Participants include OrbiMed, Fidelity Biosciences, Aisling Capital, Kearny and Venture Partners.

Mauna Kea Technologies (France) a MIS in-vivo imaging platform has closed a $30M Series B financing. Participants include Psilos Group, Seventure and Creadev.

Point Biomedical (San Carlos, CA) a myocardial perfusion imaging platform has closed a $50M Series A recapitalization financing. Participants include Vedanta Capital, Amberbrook, Fininvest, INVESCO Private Capital, New Leaf Venture Partners, Saratoga Ventures, William Blair Capital Partners, De Novo Ventures, Institutional Venture Partners, Saints Capital, Sprout Group and CHL Medical Partners.

Caprotec Bioanalytics (Germany) maker of a mass-spec based compound capture platform for drug development and protein biomarker identification closed a $8.8M Series B financing. Participants include Creathor Venture, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, ERP Startfonds and private investors.

ViOptix (Freemont, CA) developer of optical diffusion imaging and spectroscopy technology to enable non-invasive measurement of local tissue oxygen saturation closed a $12.2M Series D. Participants include Channel Medical Partners, Lincoln Funds International, Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund and Morningside Technology Ventures.

Confirma (Bellevue, WA) maker of MRI detection technology closed a $17.5M Series C. Participants include Telegraph Hill Partners, Fluke Venture Partners, Prism Ventureworks and Versant Ventures.

Sanarus Medical (Pleasanton, CA) a biopsy device company focused on diagnosis and treatment of breast tumors raised $15M in Series E funding. Participants included Easton Capital Partners, Alta Partners, Forward Ventures, Channel Medical Partners, Federated Kaufman Fund, Pequot Private Equity and U.S. Venture Partners.

TechniScan Medical Systems (Salt Lake City, UT) developer of ultrasound technology for breast imaging raised $6.4 million in Series D funding from Green and Gold Holdings and private investors.
