Participants include Aperture Venture Partners, Western Technology Investment, Prism Ventures, Charter Life Sciences and Ascent Biomedical Ventures.

BarRx Medical (Sunnyvale, CA) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on endoscopic treatment of precancerous lesions of the esophagus and other chronic gastrointestinal diseases, closed a $15M Series financing. Participants include Highland Capital Partners, Delphi Ventures, Alloy Ventures, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Greenspring Associates.

Virtual Ports (Israel) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on an internal retractor for laproscopic procedures and other endoscopic surgical tools, closed a $2.6M Series A financing. Participants include Virginia Life Science Investments and Skywalker Ventures.

Aragon Surgical (Palo Alto, CA) developer of surgical instruments for electrosurgical and laparoscopic enabling tools closed a $25M Series B financing. Participants include Bay City Capital, Integral Capital Partners, Delphi Ventures and Onset Ventures.

Softscope Medical Technologies, Inc. (St. Louis Park, MN) an early stage medical device company developing improved endoscopic procedures, has completed a $4M Series A financing. The round was led by Thomas, McNerney & Partners and Accuitive Medical Ventures.
