OrthAlign (Irvine, CA) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on tibial alignment in total knee arthroplasty, closed a $5.2M Series A financing. Participants include California Technology Ventures, Okapi Venture Capital and Research Corporation Technologies.

Pulmonx (Redwood City, CA) a commercial-stage medical device company focused on minimally invasive devices for the diagnosis and treatment of COPD and other pulmonary disorders, closed a $32M Series C financing. Participants include HealthCap, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, De Novo Ventures, Latterell Venture Partners, MedVenture Associates, Montreux Equity Partners and Posco BioVentures.

Pearl Therapeutics (Redwood City, CA) a clinical-stage pharma company focused on metered dose inhaler products for the treatment of COPD and asthma, closed a $15M Series C financing. Participants include Clarus Ventures, New Leaf Venture Partners and 5AM Ventures.

Tandem Diabetes Care (San Diego, CA) a development-stage medical device company focused on insulin pump technology, closed a $30.8M Series C financing, bringing the total round to $52.3M. Participants include HLM Venture Partners, Domain Associates, TPG Biotech, Delphi Ventures and Kearny Venture Partners.

Neomend (Irvine, CA) a commercial-stage developer of sealant and adhesion-prevemtion products focused on the application to visceral pleura for open thoracotomy, closed a $30M Series D financing. Participants include Clarus Ventures, Sanderling Ventures, Novo Ventures, Vivo Ventures and Prospect Venture Partners.

Elevation Pharmaceuticals (San Diego, CA) a preclinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing improved inhaled drug therapies for COPD , closed a $30M Series A financing. Participants include Canaan Partners, TPG Growth, Care Capital and Mesa Verde Venture Partners.

Intuity Medical (Sunnyvale, CA) a clinical-stage diagnostic device company focused on all-in-one blood sample collection and glucose analysis, closed a Series D financing. Participants include Venrock, Emergent Medical Partners, Investor Growth Capital, Thomas McNerney and Partners, U.S. Venture Partners and Versant Ventures.

ReVance Therapeutics (Mountain View, CA) a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on dermatology and aesthetic medicine, closed a $25.6M Series D financing. Particpants have included Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, Vivo Ventures, Technology Partners, Shepherd Ventures, Palo Alto Investors, Bio*One Capital and Pac-Link Venture.

Participants include Biogen Idec, Sanderling Ventures and SR One.
