Participants include Affinity Capital Management, Ascension Health Ventures, Cutlass Capital, Sapient Capital and Three Arch Partners.

CardioVascular Systems (St. Paul, MN) is working to provide a safer more effective atherectomy device for peripheral artery disease closed a $11.22M traunche of a intended $22M Series B. Participants include Easton Hunt Capital Partners and Maverick Capital.

Endocyte (West Lafayette, IN) developer of folate-targeted based therapeutics for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma, ovarian, endometrial and nscl cancer raised $15M in a Series C financing. Participants included Sanderling Ventures, Burrill & Company, Triathlon Medical Ventures, Blue Chip Venture Company, American Bailey Ventures and CID Capital.

Transoma Medical (St. Paul, MN) maker of implantable wireless monitoring systems for patients with chronic cardiovascular disease closed a $13M Series C financing. The deal was led by Canaan Partners, Affinity Capital Management and Polaris Venture Partners.

NextWave Pharma (Buffalo Grove, Ill) a pediatric drug company operating in stealth mode, closed $40M in Series B funding. The round was led by return investors Sofinnova Ventures and Vivo Ventures.

Semafore Pharmaceuticals (Indianapolis, IN) a drug discovery and development company focused on small molecule modulators of the PI3 Kinase (PI3K) & PTEN cell signaling pathway has raised $9.5M in Series B funding led by Twilight Venture Partners.
