Capella (United Kingdom) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on a sidebranched stent for complex coronary artery disease, closed a $14.6M Series D financing. Participants include Polytechnos Partners, ACT Venture Capital, Fountain Healthcare Partners and Mitsui & Co. Venture Partners.

Minnow Medical (Laguna Hills, CA) clinical-stage medical device company focused on radiofrequency thermoplasty for the treatment of in-stent restenosis and other peripheral vascular conditions, closed a $3.2M Series B financing. Participants include Neomed Management and Christopher Weil & Co..

Micell Technologies (Raleigh, NC) a development-stage medical device company focused on a fluid-based drug eluting stents for the interventional cardiology market, closed a $15M Series B financing. Participants to date have included St.Jude Medical, Invemed Catalyst Fund and GE.

Stentys (France) a clinical-stage medical device company focused on stents designed for treatment of acute myocardial infarction and coronary artery bifurcations, closed a $4.2M Series B financing bringing the round total to $22.2M.
