Avid Radiopharmaceuticals (Philadelphia, PA) a development-stage company focused on molecular imaging compounds for diagnostic and detection use in Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s and diabetes, closed a $24.5M Series D financing. Participants include Alta Partners, AllianceBernstein, Safeguard Scientifics, Pfizer Venture Investments, Lilly Ventures, RK Ventures Group and BioAdvance.

AC Immune (Switzerland) an early-stage company developing therapeutics treatment for Alzheimer’s leveraging vaccines, antibodies and small molecules, closed a $34.6M Series C financing. Participants include undisclosed.

Mithridion (Madison, WI) an early-stage drug development company focused on central nervous system disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, closed a $2.9M Series B financing. Participants include Venture Investors, Rocket Ventures, The State of Wisconsin Investment Board and Wisconsin Investment Partners.

Satori Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA) an early-stage neuroscience company focused on the discovery and development of therapies for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders closed a $22M Series B financing. Participants include InterWest Partners, Prospect Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates and PureTech Ventures.

Accera (Broomfield, CO) a biotechnology company developing therapies that address metabolic deficiencies and provide an alternative energy source for brain cells, closed a $35M Series C financing. Participants include Inventages Venture Capital, POSCO BioVentures and Bloodstone Ventures.

Neuroptix (Acton, MA) developer of a laser eye scan diagnostic for the early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease, closed a $18.5M Series B financing. Participants include Inventages.

Link Medicine (Cambridge, MA) development-stage company focused on the treatment of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, closed a $40M Series C financing. Participants include Clarus Ventures and SV Life Sciences.

ProteoStasis Therapeutics (Cambridge, MA) developing therapies to treat multiple genetic and degenerative disorders associated with protein homeostasis deficiencies, closed a $45M Series A financing. Participants include HealthCare Ventures, Fidelity Biosciences, New Enterprise Associates, Novartis Option Fund and Genzyme Ventures.

Sonexa Therapeutics (San Diego, CA) a development stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease closed a $30M Series A financing. Participants include Domain Associates, Scale Venture Partners, Alta Partners, AgeChem Venture Fund and MC Life Science Ventures.
