Merrimack Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA) development-stage biotechnology company focused on novel treatments for autoimmune disease and cancer, closed a $60M Series F financing. Participants include Credit Suisse First Boston, Next Fund, Crocker Ventures, HNI Holdings, Noonday Asset Management, TPG-Axon Capital, and WT Investment Advisors Fund.

Itero Biopharmaceuticals (San Mateo, CA) focused on novel and follow-on protein and antibody therapeutics, closed a $21M Series A financing. Participants include SV Life Sciences, Panorama Capital and VenturEast.

Cameron Health (San Clemente, CA) maker of implantable devices for treatment of cardiac disorders, closed a $51.5M Series E funding. Participants included PTV Sciences, Boston Scientific, Delphi Ventures, Sorrento Ventures, Three Arch Partners and Versant Ventures.

Immune Design (Seattle, WA) vaccine developer focused on regulating immune responses by targeting dendritic cell biology with combinations of proprietary vectors and adjuvants, closed a $18M Series A financing. Participants include Alta Partners, The Column Group and Versant Ventures.

Tolera Therapeutics (Cleveland, OH) focused on immunotherapeutics for transplantation, oncology and autoimmune disease, closed an $8M Series A financing. Participants include Triathlon Medical Ventures, Southwest Michigan First Life Science Fund and Hopen Therapeutics.

Advanced ICU Care (St. Louis, MO) early-stage company focused on telemedicine services, closed a $5M Series B financing. Participants include Versant Ventures.

Isconova (Sweden) developer of antigen delivery system and adjuvant platform, closed a $5M Series A financing. Participants include Innovations Kapital.

Reily Genomics (Palo Alto, CA) early-stage company focused on developing diagnostic tools to effectively manage patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, closed a $15M Series B financing. Participants include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mohr Davidow Ventures.

NanoMR (Albuquerque, NM) early-stage blood diagnostics device startup focused on real time, ultrasensitive detection of samples, closed a $5.5M Series A financing. Participants include vSpring Capital, Dow Venture Capital and Sun Mountain Capital.

HyperMed (Burlington, MA) early-stage company focused on hyperspectral medical imaging, closed a $4M Series B financing. Participants include GBP Capital.
